Mokal Paintball is a classic Canadian brand based in Mississauga, Ontario that saw the most success during the 1990s and early 2000s. Mokal favored particularly durable and easy to maintain markers, often utilized as rental fleets.
Early Era (1990s)
During its peak, Mokal was known for its mechanical blowback markers. Many of these were essentially high-quality "Spyder clones" or variations of that design, but they often featured unique engineering.
Modern Evolution (2010s)
In later years, the company attempted to move into the modern electronic market with the Mokal Aura: Released around 2011–2012, the Aura was a lightweight, high-performance electronic spool-valve marker. It featured high-end characteristics like no external hoses (hose-less design), break-beam eyes to prevent ball breakage, and an on/off ASA.
