Possibly the most disappointing marker I've ever purchased, the Phoenix carried on many of the problems of the Thumper while introducing some new ones. This is one of the few markers I actually bought brand new on day 1, and was so frustrated with it I made several changes to try and get it closer to what I wanted before tossing it into the scrap pile. I acquired another one second hand to keep in the collection.
There were quite a few people who were fans of what Metadyne was going for with the Thumper line (myself included) and was willing to give them a second chance, only to see much the same outcome as the Thumper.
Metadyne ceased operations not too long after the release of this marker.
