The ICE Epic is probably best known for being a 'bolt-less' marker, though in reality it simply trades a bolt for a 'trapdoor' mechanism that opens and closes the breech. It is a very compact marker, featuring integrated ASA and regulator, with an over-pressure relief system. The integrated regulator is often the cause of death for Epics still around today, as the regulator seals are unique to this marker. this particular Epic functions, but I don't particularly like airing it up. The rear plate of the body is held in by a single screw that goes up through the grip frame. It does not pass all the way through the back plate, but stops part of the way through. As a result, when the body is pressurized it tends to push the back of the marker out a bit, slowly stretching and wearing out the aluminum.
