There is a reason you still see CCI's "The Phantom" going strong these days, and never see its successor, the Revolution. The Revolution is an interesting design choice, and the firing mechanism is actually semi-auto. The pump only actuates the bolt for feeding rounds, and is not connected to the firing assembly. As a result the pump action is incredibly light, hence the finger paddles. Unfortunately they have a tendency to break trigger springs (rendering the marker inoperable), and also have a fair bit of blowby out the feed. I've replaced the trigger spring on this one twice and then modified the design so it wouldn't break again. Even still, this is an overly complicated marker aimed at the simplest form of play.
