The Alien Revelation is an electro-pnuematic, bolt-less, bullpup paintball marker that never made it to market. It features a rear-mounted valve and a front-mounted rear-firing ram. In addition to striking the valve, the ram operates a 'trap-door' mechanism inside the alien head which slides open to allow a ball to feed then slides shut behind it. As a result the paint is fired from behind the barrel, instead of in the bore. This can potentially result in breakage as the ball enters the barrel when firing. Overall the operation of the marker was never quite right, and the 'trap-door gun' didn't get to market.
